I’m Student
What is class code, and how do I get one?
Class code is a 7-character code that lets students join their teachers’ Quipper classes. To get one, simply ask for your teacher’s class code.
It says I can’t join a class, but the class code is correct. What to do?
You may be using a free account. You may check your Account Profile if you’re tagged as “Quipper School” or “Quipper School Premium.” If it says “Quipper School,” that means you are using a free account, and you will not be able to join your teacher’s class code. You may contact your school’s designated Quipper Support Officer to get an official account. Once you have your official account, please refrain from creating a new one.
Why are there no courses/I can’t see anything in the “My Courses”/”Course List” section?
The teachers of the classes you’ve joined haven’t enabled any self-study courses yet. Only when the teacher has allowed a course available for self-study (either for advance reading or review) will the students have access to the course(s) in the “My Courses”/”Course List” section.
I can’t find the assignment sent by my teacher, but I have already joined the class. Why is this happening, and what to do?
You might have joined the class past the deadline of the assignment, which means that this would not reflect on your To-do’s because the assignment has already expired. You may ask your teacher to extend the deadline for the assignment or re-send it only for you.
I’m a student and I missed one of my assignments. Can I still answer it?
You can find your missed activities in the “Overdue” section under “To-Dos”. You may still answer this, but it’s up to the teacher’s decision if they will still consider and record your score.
